「ゆうやけこやけ」の歌をふと思い出した。すると小焼けの意味が気になった。
日本語で接頭語に「小」が良く使われるので、単に語呂かとも思ったがそうでもない。夕日を眺めていると、日没後に赤い空が広がることがあった。それを小焼けと言うようだ。
I remembered suddenly the song of "Yu-yake ko-yake". Then, I was worrisome the meaning of the afterglow. Since the "ko" is often used to prefix in Japanese, I was thought it euphony, but not. When looking at the sunset, there was a red sky spread to after sunset. Say it Ko-yake (afterglow).
