黄色い花の女郎花（おみなえし）と言えば秋の七草の一つだが、この花は白い。同じオミナエシ科の植物で男郎花 （おとこえし）、別名敗醤（はいしょう）と言う。本来は沢山の花をつけるが、ひと月前に茎を切ってしまい、脇芽に咲いたのでずいぶんと小振りである。
Bloom yellow flowers Dahurian patrinia (Ominaeshi) is one of the seven flowers of autumn, but the flowers are white. The plant of the same Valerianaceae, it is called White Patrinia (Otokoeshi) aka Haisho. Although originally put a lot of flowers, for which I have cut the stems before a month, it is a pretty small size since bloomed in lateral bud.
